This project for the Cambridge Housing Authority consists of mechanical, water-saving, envelope, and roofing improvements to eight federally assisted multi-family masonry buildings housing 175 units. Design services include an existing conditions study, solar readiness analysis, schematic design, and construction document phases. At every stage of this project, the goal is improving energy efficiency and maximize roof design for PV panel installation.
The design team provided analysis for the appropriation and integration of renewable energy sources. The project includes close collaboration with CHA and building residents to perform renovations on this continually occupied building.
