This new Energy Star home built on an existing house foundation focuses on the fluid integration of wheelchair use with the needs of an active family of four. From exterior to interior, there are equivalent paths of travel for everyone. Single-use circulation space is kept to a compact central core and particular attention was devoted to outdoor accessibility and active use of the kitchen. The result is an open plan house that allows the family to connect and interact seamlessly.
